GreenOrbs: Carbon sink - one of the future research directions of GreenOrbs. Note that this is an interdisciplinary work.
GreenOrbs: The scale of GreenOrbs online display increases to 220 nodes. Note that the actual deployment scale has been more than that since last year.
GreenOrbs: The new GreenOrbs program, GreenOrbs V3.0, has been in continuous running on the GreenOrbs system since last weekend.
GreenOrbs: A new round of development for GreenOrbs starts, aiming at a system scale of1000+. Currently we're doing unit tests on GreenOrbs testbed.
GreenOrbs: GreenOrbs work "Elon" is accepted by SIGMETRICS 2010!
GreenOrbs: Besides the two large deployments already in the forest, recently we've succesfully built an indoor testbed with a max capcity of 160 nodes.
GreenOrbs: During the last week, we have deployed 330 nodes in GreenOrbs and carried out a series of experiments.
GreenOrbs: We have produced 500 new sensor nodes. A new round of incremental deployment of GreenOrbs is going to be carried out in a few days.
GreenOrbs: We have switched to a new web server for the GreenOrbs website (www.greenorbs.org). Service is kept in operation without any interruption.
GreenOrbs: "Canopy Closure Estimates with GreenOrbs: Sustainable sensing in the forest" has been presented at ACM SenSys 2009 by Yuan HE.
GreenOrbs: The GreenOrbs system scale on the Tianmu Mountain has been expanded to 200 nodes.
GreenOrbs: We have adopted a new data monitoring program on the base station of GreenOrbs since 2009.9.28.
GreenOrbs: Official Chinese website is online: cn.greenorbs.org
GreenOrbs: "Why Are Long-Term Large-Scale Sensor Networks Difficult? Lessons Learned from GreenOrbs" has been presented as poster of ACM MobiCom 2009.
GreenOrbs: GreenOrbs work "Canopy Closure Estimates with GreenOrbs: Sustainable Sensing in the Forest" has been accepted to appear at ACM SenSys 2009!
